Waldorf Astoria…this place has been on my list ever since we moved to Utah. Just like Montage Deer Valley, there’s some great deals here in the off-season, and it’s equally as stunning. I couldn’t pick a favorite between the two. Trust me, Jered’s already asked. The entry way of Waldorf opens up to a room filled with cozy elegance. You’re greeted by smiling faces (and the occasional dog), a sparkling chandelier, and the most lovely fireplace. We stayed here the night of my 25th birthday and it was one of the most memorable birthdays yet. The rooms are incredible with beautiful kitchens and plenty of space, but the FOOD (because you guys know that’s my favorite part)…it was unbelievably good! We ate dinner at their restaurant Powder, and I already want to go back. Everything we had was phenomenal and all from quality, sustainable, organic, or local ingredients. This is one of those places where you truly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Although, I still dream about the cheeseboard and the organic fried chicken. The restaurant is also open for breakfast and serves classic dishes with a chef-inspired twist alongside coffee or a fresh green smoothie. As far as everything else, we loved the workout center (everything was new/modern) and the spa. Jered and I both got a pedicure and it was probably our best yet. Not to mention it lasted over an hour and came with a glass of Prosecco or organic tea. Waldorf is one of those places that makes ya feel like a Queen…or a King, even if for a night.
